Planning Your Child’s Birthday Party Without Breaking The Bank

Where did you hear that? Although aerobic exercise burns more fat, the benefits end shortly after you stop. But strength training helps build muscle, and muscle cells are up to eight times more metabolically active than fat cells. This means muscle burns more kilo-joules than fat – even when you’re sitting still. Because muscle is heavier than fat, building muscle may initially make you gain some weight, but it’ll also burn more fat and streamline your shape in the long term.

Magicians and magic tricks are still a favorite too. But today’s magicians pull out all the stops when it comes to entertaining the birthday crowd. Some will even provide treat bags for the party goers to take home with magic tricks they can do at home.

Redesigning your business brand is a big to-do. You have to do a lot of soul-searching, answering hard questions, to figure out the story that your brand needs to tell your target audience.

A garden party held at night will benefit from the use of glowsticks and glowsticks products. Those occasional games of night tag are a lot easier and safer if the players each have a glowstick for guidance. You can also plug together longer glow necklaces and string them along the outdoor furniture. The red and blue glowsticks make a fun alternative to sparklers during the Independence Day celebration.

The Annapolis Build-a-Bear is a fun birthday party option for children of all ages and works well for both boys and girls. Children get to leave with a teddy bear (or other stuffed animal) that they’ve created, negating the need for goody bags. You can select how much each child will get to spend on their bear. As little as a person will get each child a bear, or go up to a person for a bear and an outfit, if you choose. Then, head down to the food court for Maggie Moo’s cake and ice cream (additional cost) and to open your birthday presents.

Nothing flattens a kid’s party faster than games that are too old or too young for the party-goers. Keep your party games age appropriate. This is easily accomplished by letting your child select a few games they like. Be sure to include a few games appropriate for both girls and boys or create different versions for boys and girls separately, and then pit the two teams against each other for a special prize.

Let your little Princesses have a tea party. You can decorate with balloons or even using necklaces to drape and bracelets hanging. I would even use a tiara as a centerpiece.

Scrapbook. This is also a wonderful little remembrance to send along with thank-you notes. To make it more interesting, pose kids with costumes or props which relate to the party theme.
